North Oaks Golf Club, located in the Northern suburbs of St Paul, Minnesota, is an original design of the legendary Canadian golf course architect, Stanley Thompson. The club worked with professional golfer Tom Lehman of Lehman Design Group to spearhead the renovation. The goal of the project was to revitalize the course through strategically placed bunkers that enhance the beauty of the natural surroundings, while restoring the original design. During the project 75 bunkers were added or reconstructed using pristine white PGA tournament quality sand. Duininck Brothers Inc. Golf used archive course photos to restore the design integrity of the course, and bring the greens and fairways to their original condition.

Construction work was completed in less than three months while keeping the course open for play.
