Golf Digest Ranks The Meadows at Mystic Lake Golf Course One of the Best 

Prior Lake, Minnesota - Golf Digest has ranked The Meadows at Mystic Lake as one of the top new golf courses in the country out of several hundred courses. Golf Digest is the largest golf publication in the world, with a circulation of 1.6 million. The ranking appeared in the January 2007 issue of the magazine available on newsstands and online at www.golfdigest.com in December 2006. In the list of "Best New Public $75 and Over" courses, The Meadows at Mystic Lake came in at number 10.

According to Golf Digest, "Winners were determined by evaluations filed by a panel of more than 800 low-handicap golfers, who judged the courses in five categories: Shot Values, Design Variety, Resistance to Scoring, Memorability, and Aesthetics. The categories are Private Courses, Public Courses (Under $75 and $75 and Over), Remodel, and Canadian."

The Meadows at Mystic Lake Golf Course offers first-class service, a gorgeous new Clubhouse and Pro Shop, a practice range, and restaurant. The Meadows covers 7,144 yards on approximately 160 acres and has a rating of 74.2 with a slope rating of 142. During the season, twelve-minute tee times allow for relaxed play and greater enjoyment of the game. Life-sized bronze statues are featured at several different holes with more planned. Fairways, tees, and greens are bent grass to define the course. The golf course contains more than 1,000 trees and 500 acres of wetlands. Thirteen holes have water features; there are 20 fountains, and a 2,500-foot cascading stream with four waterfalls winds through the middle of the course. Eleven acres of native wildflowers bloom each year. Golf carts include an advanced GPS (global positioning system offering each cart exact yardage to pin, all hazards on the course, a complete map of the course, and even tips on how to play each hole providing the ultimate golfing experience.
